Home Rowing Machine

Have you ever thought about how a rowing machine works?  Take a look at this …

Rowing machines are made to simulate the real rowing motions used on the water. And just like the real rowing, exercising with a rowing machine tones and strengthens the lower and upper body. Home rowing machines are wonderful for cadiovascular exercise as well as overall toning. Rowing is excellent for staying in shape, and exercises all of the major muscles — more so than any other single piece of cardio vascular fitness equipment. Rowing machines are engineered to imitate actual boat rowing so that it feels like you are rowing oars through water as you work the equipment. As an oar is pulled back and pushed forward with a smooth motion in actual water, the water functions as the resistance.

Rowing machines are an excellent transition from endurance and strength workouts, promising a great cardio workout and strengthening your arm, back, shoulders and abdominal muscles. Rowing machines are geared to mirror the real workout which is performed on the water. Just like actual rowing, exercising on a rowing machine makes both the upper and lower body to workout. Rowing machines are uncomplicated to use.  You simply sit on the seat and move back and forth pulling the handles as you row . Your knees ought to be slightly when you are nearest to the rowing machine’s base, straightening out as you slide back with each rowing stroke.  Your knees should remain slightly bent at the furthest point of the stroke and you ought to keep your back straight all the time .

That said , it’s hard to get a more complete exercise routine with one piece of exercise equipment.
